The challenges faced by AG2R La Mondiale

The Academy of AG2R La Mondiale (a multinational insurance firm) aims to develop the skills of its employees for today and tomorrow. It advises and helps the BU managers to better address their business challenges while transforming the learning practices and culture. The Academy is composed of BU Campuses which provide learning paths adapted to the challenges related to retirement insurance and health insurance, for instance.  In each Campus, employees benefit from a varied course catalog which includes face-to-face and e-learning modules. The objective is to optimize the learner’s path by adapting the content to employees’ profile and needs, according to their scope of activity, experience, skills proficiency and learning history.

Project

To meet this challenge, the Academy of AG2R La Mondiale has launched Domoscio Hub for one of its Campuses. The objective is to automate skills-based approaches and optimize the time spent while learning. First, Hub accurately assesses the employees’ individual level of proficiency with a positioning test. According to their profile and skills gap, Hub designs a learning path with recommendations of adapted learning modules to make sure that employees learn only what they need to learn. In this project, Hub acts as a portal in the learning environment, which means it indexes all the learning materials to redirect employees to the right learning activity based on their needs.

Hub’s authoring tool was used to integrate the skills map which defines what employees need to acquire according to their BU, the structure of the course catalog related to these skills and the quizzes to assess employees on the target skills. The content is then exported as a SCORM format to distribute it on AG2R La Mondiale’s LMS.

When employees log in their LMS, they can launch the SCORM related to Hub. They take an adaptive positioning test to assess their individual level of proficiency on the target skills. Once the assessment is done, personalized learning modules are recommended to employees: when they click on one of them, they are redirected to the right platform and start the module.

Throughout the whole learning path, L&D managers have access on the web platform Hub to dashboards with the right information to monitor employees’ learning, both collectively and individually, and identify potential learning actions to implement.

Benefits

Hub addresses employees’ individual learning needs to provide them with a more engaging learning experience. Besides, Hub is integrated with the existing environment to leverage the company’s platforms and all the available learning modules.
